LOCATION: Dublin

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Detailed review of Disbursement Accounts (Port expenses) from vessels’ world wide trading; in close contact with offices in Singapore, Monaco, London and Rome.
  • Assist the Manager of the Technical Department with vessel cost control and reporting.
  • Production and circulation of consolidated reports
  • Cost control function; monitoring cash to masters and reconciliations
  • Analysis of reports using different criteria


EXPERIENCE AND RELEVANT SKILLS

The successful candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Graduate of a Maritime academy could be a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years experience of working within an International / Multinational Company
  • Fluent English essential
  • Background in cost control / accounting a distinct advantage.
  • Strong IT experience, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to reach daily targets and work on own initiative
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong desire to grow and make a difference
